Hours later Diamond stood at the window and watch the cold, dreary Chicago day, and tried not to think about Allen or where he might be.

Distress tautened Diamond’s face. She bit her lip and sigh. “You know Allen was lying when he said he pays the rent on this place,” she exhaled. “Allen hasn’t paid the rent for the last two months.”

The weight of her words slammed into Cupcake’s chest, almost knocking the breath out of her. “What?”

Diamond waved her hand. “Oh, I’m not worried, everything will be okay. All I have to do is just give Allen some time, he’ll come around.”

Cupcake glanced back at Diamond standing by the window. Her heart went out to her. She poured herself another cup of coffee and reached for a fresh cup and filled it. “Diamond, come have a cup of coffee with me.”

She carried the cups of coffee over to the table and sat down. “Diamond did you get a chance to check with Max and see if he would speed, your financial aid application through?”

Diamond heard the urgency in her voice and walked over and sat down. She lifted her cup of coffee and slowly took a sip.

“Don’t act like you didn’t hear me, Diamond Jolene Dunbar,” this is Wanda Faye Potts, sitting here girl,” she said sourly, as she spun around in her chair and stared back at her best friend.

“Cupcake,” I’m not impressed with your trying to act like you’re ticked off at me. Besides, I know your real name is Wanda Faye Potts. I know who you are.”

“Then you know that I am your oldest, wisest and dearest friend. I’ve known you since you were a girl growing up in the Cabrini Green Projects.”

Lumina Virtual Book Tour

by Paddy Tyrrell

GENRE:   Epic Fantasy

A generation designed by sorcery to destroy your people. Two races mired in conflict. Can a pair of outcasts unite them against an enemy who would enslave them all?

The birth of ‘bronzite’ babies in Lumina heralds the onset of war. The people take fright at the golden children and banish them from the land. A dangerous move. King Zheldar, commander of the black dragon, is attacking Luman borders. If he wins bronzite support for his army of monsters, Lumina is lost.

Davron Berates cannot share his people’s hatred of the children and, on discovering he has a bronzite brother, sets out to find him. At his side travels Chrystala. A bronzite, she has twice his strength and three times his determination.

When the black dragon kidnaps Chrystala, Davron is faced with a terrible choice: save his friend or save his nation.

Jaldeen strode towards an ancient font at the far side of the tower and opened wooden shutters in the wall behind it. Leaning out, he checked the platform outside for any decay. It looked solid enough and he stepped over the windowsill and walked to the center. He cupped his hands around his mouth and spelled a summons, his voice a rasp of vowels that floated on the damp air. He ducked back inside. There was a thrash of wings and the tower shuddered. Xeralith, black dragon of Kuhla, had answered his call.

Any fleeting sense of power deserted him in the terror of her presence. She was as old as the moss that ate the castle walls. Evil had putrefied her beauty, her once crimson scales stained black by Rach’s corruption. She thrust her head through the opening in the wall. Bony nodules covered her upper jaw and the dark armor plating of her head. Steam belched from her nostrils.

Jaldeen ran and hid behind the font, clinging to the carvings of the demons that served his god, as though they could protect him. He averted his face from the scalding droplets. Xeralith’s breath, heavy with malevolence, contaminated the air with the stench of burning metal and rotten meat. Stomach heaving, Jaldeen forgot to maintain his shield. Her eyes swirled and she locked her gaze on his. Trickles of flame erupted through teeth that could rip him in two. He lost control of his limbs and fell. She lunged at him and he scrambled back, his heels banging on the stone floor. The horns on her sinewy neck snagged against the outer wall and pulled her short. She screeched in frustration.

About the Author

What inspires you to write?

The original inspiration to  write came when I was a youngster and used to tell my elder sister stories to help her get to sleep at night. Yet I didn’t write for a long, long time. Looking back, I understand why. It stemmed from a lack of confidence and the feeling that if it wasn’t perfect I shouldn’t do it. A teacher once told me people shouldn’t write unless it was impossible not to.

In those long years of not writing, I fell in love with fantasy novels, and so the challenge was to create one unique to me and that meant building a new world: the landscape, the animals, the people and the ‘magic’.

Where did I turn to? There are five main sources for my ideas:

Firstly, nature. The original idea for the book came when I was walking with my husband and our two huskies. There was a pond near us and waterways criss-crossing the land and, with all that water, came dragonflies.  In Lumina they became dragonlites who clean the dragon’s scales. We were living at the time in the midst of French marshlands with canals covered in a green algae. In places, methane gas would bubble up. These friendly waterways became the dreaded Maugraine Swamp with gas that could kill and slitherns lurking beneath the surface.

Secondly, animals. One of the key protagonists, Salazai, can commune with animals. Our two Siberian huskies transformed into the two snow-wolf cubs, Ice and Sapphire, who fight alongside Salazai in the battle with the Kuhlans. This is Sapphire in the book:

‘Amber eyes, tipped with snow-white lashes, stared at Salazai. The young wolf’s face was as delicate as the seed puffs that floated in the air around her, her nose black and shiny with health. Her fur was white, only the ears laced with a fringe of gray.’

Third comes memories, particularly from travelling around the world for my job. A banquet in Cairo inspired the parade of 500 waiters at the queen’s birthday celebrations, when the Kuhlan king gives her the kidnapped bronzite, Chrystala, as his present.

Next there is research. I was struggling to imagine the demon’s temple in the desert and wanted a dragon involved. By researching I discovered a serpent eating its own tail signifies infinity and the cycle of birth and death. That led to this description:

‘An immense rock formation dominated the horizon. It was shaped like a sleeping dragon, body curled in an elongated circle, great spines exploding from its back, their jagged edges following the swollen curve of its body to the sinuous snaking of its tail. At its forked end, the tail was held between the dragon’s gaping jaws. Two towering figures loomed beneath, demons carved from black stone. They guarded the entrance to the Temple of Irithnos, consecrated to Rach, ruler of all demons, and guardian of the Dragon King. ‘

One of the most important sources of inspiration is of course people. When I need to be nasty I think of bad bosses I’ve had and the sort of things they would rage about when in a temper. Names for characters are often a challenge and again names of people I know often serve as a basis for creating a new name that fits the world of the novel.

Overall I think inspiration comes from a multitude of sources if you keep your mind open. When you can’t imagine how to get from one plot moment to another, or how to depict a scene, just be patient and let it swirl around in your subconscious for a while. Using catalysts from nature, animals, your memories, your research and the people around you, your mind will likely solve the problem for you.

Laughter followed Velvet as she left the stage in the grotto where she had been hired to perform a private show for the wealthy creatures’s birthday party.

She knew the crowd were eyeing her bare torso, hoping the current would sway her long silver and lilac-tinted hair off of her breasts so they could see if the color of her nipples matched the color of her lilac fin.

She sighed. Maybe it was time to change. Raven black hair with a bright, shiny aqua blue tail made her audiences stare, but she did get more jobs that way. She wanted more shows at the big clubs.

“Velvet.” Cassidy, her manager, called out to her from where she waited in the luxurious apartment the management called a dressing room.

Cassidy was a mermaid, too. She was much older than Velvet, who was only one hundred years old. Cassidy was more than three hundred years old. No one would know that if it weren’t for the Hall of Records there in The Dreaming because everything stayed the way you wanted it to.

Jungle Beauty Goddesses Series

Jungle Beauty Goddesses Series: Pretty Blue, Aquatic Ball, Dirty Ball

by C. G. Sturges

GENRE: Fantasy, Erotica

Jungle Beauty Goddesses “Pretty Blue” Book 1

If you were given planet Earth as a gift to develop its life forms—would the world be a better place than it is today? What would your primary expectation and goal be for each human? Would you give them free will or plan their destiny? Would you demand that your humans worship you as their creator? Would you be available to assuage their every desire; and acquiesce to their demands, prayers, and wishes? Would you grow to resent them for living the life you imagined?

The Jungle Beauty Goddesses were free-spirited goddesses who enjoyed their freedom as the youngest children—and the last deities born to their parents—creators of the universe. Per the family tradition of being awarded a planet, the septuplets were given planet Earth as a gift for their birthday. Their siblings, also gods and goddesses of the universe since the beginning of time, warn them about the challenges of selflessness, power, worship, and divine duty.

The seven sisters struggle to maintain their own freedom as limitless beings, while sibling rivalry makes it difficult to accept their collective duty to fulfill the family obligation to the deity-hood as creators for planets.

The entire universe threatens to collapse due to their negligence and disobedience. They question the boundaries of their divine powers as they ponder whether it is possible to mold a being to be superior to its creator.

Jungle Beauty Goddesses “Aquatic Ball” Book 2

Sometimes your worst nightmare is having everything you ever wanted. Upon visiting planet Earth, the Jungle Beauty Goddesses discover that the life forms they created are in danger of extinction, and an unforeseen dominant species has positioned itself to take dominion.

Unprepared and disillusioned about how to access their highest vibrational frequency; the Jungle Beauty Goddesses face their own demise.

The only way they can save themselves, their planet, and ultimately the universe is by managing to align with their deity powers and the wisdom of their highest selves in the face of their worst fears, disappointments, and betrayals.

Jungle Beauty Goddesses “Dirty Ball” Book 3

If you had the power to make anyone in the world fall in love with you—would you? Jungle Beauty Goddess Afar revokes her deity vows and takes her destiny into her own hands by participating in the life she was born to create for others.

Afar embraces the deepest, darkest nuances of her shadow self with brutality, dignity, and integrity. She brazenly unleashes the murkiest qualities of the human condition and leaves the chaos for her unsuspecting sisters to clean up or suffer the consequences of losing the planet given to them by their parents–creators of the universe.

Jungle Beauty Goddess Afar’s actions give a new meaning to the saying, “Hell has no fury like a woman scorned.”

Excerpt One:

Solution: We, the merbeings /mermaids/merfolks, are on the side of the Jungle Beauty Goddesses. We want to preserve the natural beauty of Earth and all of its life forms that are capable of adapting to Earth’s natural environment causing the least amount of damage to the cosmos.

We, the Mermaids, do not need to me be monitored like humans. We do not need the assistance of other worldly guides, angels, or higher order omnificent beings to exist and coexist peacefully with like-minded beings on planet Earth.

We will not use or create industrialized products or services, technology, or substances that will destroy the Earth’s natural resources. The Earth, as it is, without alterations, machines, or chemicals creates the prime and ultimate living conditions for our species.

We are the natural evolutionary heirs to planet earth bequeathed by the hands of destiny. Planet earth is rapidly becoming an aquatic planet designed for life forms which can adapt to a water-only environment. If you sign planet Earth over to us for safekeeping—you will never have to worry about this planet being selfishly exploited for its resources. You will never have to come here again and you are free to live your life as you please.

Shakespeare Burning

Shakespeare Burning

by Charisse Moritz

GENRE: YA Romance, (mature)

He’s the boy who wants to disappear.

One mistake and seventeen-year-old Shake LeCasse lost everything. Now there’s no going back and no way to move forward. The once-popular Varsity hockey captain is living in the basement of a grandmother he barely knows, ditching school, avoiding friends and working hard on self-destruction.

She’s the girl nobody sees.

Cleo Lee survives however she can. Lie, cheat, steal, whatever it takes, and saving Mr. Popular isn’t part of the plan. Telling him the truth about the night that destroyed his life is downright dangerous. She needs to keep quiet, be smart and let the guy she’s been half in love with since middle school throw away a future she’d do anything to have. Too bad she sucks at playing it safe.

He is nothing but trouble in a pretty package:

Heaving upward, I battle to straighten my legs under his weight. There’s a lot of him and not very much of me. To handle this much bulk, I should have rented a moving van. The dude is so ridiculously big, he probably beeps when he backs up. So when his arm lands across my shoulders, I dip forward quicker than a robin spotting a worm.

He plops a massive hand on top of my head, and I’m suddenly wearing an octopus as a hat. For the second time today.

“Hey!” I try again.

He lifts up his right foot, waggles it, and says, “My feet are fucking huge.”

I squeeze tighter. He’s unsteady and OK, yes, he just feels really super good. I may never get this chance again and plan to make the most of it. I sort of wish I could crawl right inside him and burrow deep. I am the parasite. He is the healthy host.

“You know what they say about dudes with big feet,” I tell him.

“Big shoes.”

“Nope. Try again.”

“Big toes.”

“Big socks.”

“Big steps.”

“Jesus,” I snap. “Quit already!”

He points at my boots and says, “Arose your fleet.”

His name is Shakespeare. He not only takes AP courses, but until this year, held a top ten spot in our senior class. So maybe this conversation is above my IQ level, because I don’t know anything about my fleet or how to raise it. But when his hand drifts upward, pointing at my boobs, and the drunken mess says, “They’re tiny as shit,” I hope to hell he was asking about my feet. As in, “Are those your feet?”

“Your fleet can kiss my ass.” I tug on him. “Let’s go.”

He shakes his head. “Not what I need.”

“Home, dude.”

He gives me another slow head shake and suddenly drops to the pavement, landing on his ass. Since I’m hanging on, and still squeezing like my life depends on him, it turns into a whole Jack and Jill thing, with him breaking his crown and me tumbling after. My left elbow takes the worst of it.

I push away, trip over his ginormous fleet and nearly fall again. “Goddamnit! Screw this.”

I only came to The Crypt to bitch out my brother for stealing my toothpaste, hoping he’d throw me a couple of bones. Shake can find his own way home. Or not. I don’t give a shit. So what if Mr. Popularity spends all night on the cold sidewalk? So what if the cops pick him up? So what if he wears his jeans better than the Mona Lisa wears a smile? He is nothing but trouble in a pretty package and definitely out of my price range.

Murder at Eagle’s Nest is a gentle mystery novel set in a peaceful vacation resort in Apalachicola on Florida’s Forgotten Coast. The area is still reeling after Hurricane Michael made landfall only thirty-five miles to the west, on Mexico Beach. It uncovers fraud, driven by greed and arrogance. However, everything changes when a body is discovered. The police detective brought in from Tallahassee, quickly enlists the help of two women staying at the resort, who have unusual insight. They ultimately uncover critical evidence, which unmasks the perpetrator.

Read an Excerpt

s In the end, Michael made landfall on October 10th 2018 as the first category five hurricane to hit the U.S. mainland for more than twenty-five years. Its ‘bullseye’ was Mexico Beach, and the result was that much of this thriving little coastal town was almost completely destroyed. Several days after the storm, a worker in the nearby forest, found a weather station that had been blown inland by the storm. He was surprised to discover that the data was still intact, and it had recorded a 206mph wind gust before it was blown away and stopped recording.

The pier, had been the signature landmark in Mexico beach since 1967 and had provided a place for tourists to fish, or sit drinking a cup of coffee in the morning, or watch the sun set in the evening. Now it was completely gone, there was not even one wooden post sticking up out of the surf to show it had ever existed, except in the photographs and memories of generations of tourists. Most of the surrounding homes and condos had been reduced to rubble sitting on concrete foundations. Even the Federal government (FEMA) had declared the community as ‘wiped out’. The few homes that had survived were newer homes which had been built on stilts, but even those stood in varying degrees of disrepair with tattered siding and gaping holes in the roof. Everywhere you looked was destruction and devastation!

As Hurricane Michael swirled in the Gulf, Anna Kohl and Hazel Davies were a thousand miles north, safe in their home near Columbus, Ohio watching it on the news and praying for the people in the panhandle. Storms were always a time for prayer, but their prayers were intensified on this occasion as they had friends on the Forgotten Coast and only six months earlier, they had purchased a small condominium in Apalachicola as an investment and an occasional winter retreat. Their friends had evacuated ahead of the storm, so they were safe, but their homes and properties were still a cause for concern.

About the Author:
Originally from Manchester, England but moved to the U.S. over 30 years ago. I have an accounting background in both countries. Several years ago, I discovered an interest in writing. My two previous books, Finding God in an RV and The Power Within, document my spiritual journey. However, as a longtime lover of murder mysteries, with a passion to follow plots and figure out the perpetrator, it was time for a new direction. I decided to ‘try my hand’ at weaving my own story, and true to my character, I had to tie up all the loose ends. Murder at Eagles Nest is my first mystery novel, and I am already working on the next mystery for my amateur detectives, Hazel and Anna, to solve.

Dreams of Mariposa

Dreams of Mariposa

by L.T. Getty

GENRE:   Steampunk-Horror

Every decade, Marie must leave her home and everything she loves to start anew. She can’t risk the locals learning the truth of her immortality, much less her vampiric need of feeding off fear. Fortunately for Marie, fear comes easily and she spends her endless days mourning the loss of her beloved.

When she is summoned to the leaders of the masquerade, she is persuaded to assist them in uncovering a mystery of powers possibly more ancient then their own order.

As a rare daywalker of exquisite beauty, there is no society Marie cannot infiltrate. Having spent the last few centuries growing into her abilities, she expects to learn of the old powers, and return to her lonely eternity of mourning.

She doesn’t expect to fall in love.

I spooked my horse while we travelled alongside a creek, but I managed to keep the gelding under control. It was Theo who was nearly thrown from his horse. Since Rosa and I preferred to keep no staff, the maintenance of the creatures was often something we did not do of our own volition.

“Steady! Steady,” he said. He quickly dismounted and petted her nose. “What is wrong?”

“Does she have a nervous temperament?” I asked. He shook his head.

“She is my uncle’s horse, and is all the more calm in her maturity.” He made clicking noises to soothe the mare, turning his attention to the started beast. Involuntarily, I reached out toward him, I wanted to feel his hair between my fingertips. At once the mare’s eyes widened, and she reared. Theo let go of her bridle and fell backward. I almost leapt at the horse to force her back, but she didn’t come down on him. Instead she galloped the way we came.

“Are you injured?” I asked.

“One who is afraid of horses shouldn’t be riding them,” he told me, rolling up almost effortlessly. He dusted himself off before he caught my eyes “A twelve-year old animal, and she still rides like the wind.”

“I shall fetch her for you.” It would be easy enough, once we were out of sight, to leap from my horse and run until I found the mare.

“Lend me your horse. I can recover my own mare,” he said. “You would leave a lady on the road, defenseless?”

“You and I both know you are far from defenseless. I shan’t be more than a minute, but each minute we delay only adds to the duration of this situation. She’s likely calmed down and eating berries. She knows my voice.”

“Help me down,” I said.

My horse was too slender a beast to pick up any real speed with two passengers, though my weight was negligible. Theo was no small fellow. I needed no help, but I knew how to play my part in my society and his. He put his hands about my narrow hips, and I put my arms around his neck, and slowly he boosted and then lowered me, ever in control. He had beautiful eyes, and I knew he could not deny mine as his gaze lingered.

“Is this yours?” a familiar voice broke the trance, and I glanced at Hilda, who had caught the mare.

Why I can’t Listen to Lyrics When I Write

I’m not going to profess to be a connoisseur of music. My sister Ali has always had a knack for the keyboard. My dad’s got my nieces and nephew learning guitar. I have multiple friends who either taught music or have amazing voices. I’m the one blaring Nickleback at my BBQ.

That isn’t to say I don’t have good focus when I’m doing a task. I joke about I learned years ago not to listen to the radio or music with lyrics when I study. I don’t need silence, and I have the discipline to be focused on the topic at hand if you’re watching TV. And by study, I mean verbatim memorization. I can listen to anything while I’m doing taxes or making cookies, but for the amount of education I have, I’ve learned to appreciate classical and jazz.

So when I write it’s not that I don’t listen to music, it’s more that I intentionally don’t listen to music I know the lyrics to. I can kind of get away with it if it’s in a language I don’t understand, but if I really like the song, The Queen of Misheard Lyrics over here might be singing along as opposed to focusing on the words. Now, this isn’t always the case. I enjoy listening to podcast and audio books, and I can be a bit of a musical theatre nerd, especially if I’m cleaning or sorting. Lyrics are more than welcome when I’m doing something mindless, like I’m 40 minutes into a spin.

If it wasn’t for looney toons and other animated shorts from my parent’s age, I might not know a thing about classical music, either. My go to is Youtube and the word “Instrumental” and then I switch it up. I’m not huge on Background Ambiance, but I usually go with terms like “Epic” “Celtic” “Jazz” or “Classical”. When I write, it’s typically “Epic” that’s my first choice when I write. It’s almost like that’s what sets me into the writing ‘zone’ as opposed to goofing around with emails.

I think the word epic gets thrown around a lot. For Instance, here’s two lyricless epic songs. They’ve got very different feels to them:

Fight Music

Gothic Music

What to listen to, and when

This is by no means a comprehensive list, but here’s what I generally like to do:

Fight Scenes: Epic Music Scores. Write the term ‘battle’ when you’re searching. Have an aesthetic idea? Are we in a period time piece? Writing a high seas battle might make for some swashbuckling music, whereas the epic battle between two wizards might need something more solemn, with some ominous latin chanting. If you’re stuck, think of epic music you hear from movie soundtracks. There’s too many to list, how about you guys name or link to some of your favourites in the comments?.

Journeys: Video game soundtracks. Video games have come a long way, and I honestly don’t game much any more. That doesn’t mean I won’t look up how many people are needed to make a soundtrack come to life. Most folks agree that The Shadow of the Colossus Soundtrack is amazing, with both epic highs and quiet moments.

Editing: Something unrelated. I like jazz, or classical, although as stated above, my knowledge on classical music is limited. I really enjoy listening to Beethoven’s Virus, especially when you listen to multiple reiterations.

How about you? When you sit down to write, can you just put the radio on and go? Do you find music sets the mood and the tone for your novels? Comment below, and maybe share a link to some excellent instrumental music.

When US Marshal Jay Stonewalker sees a possible terrorist comment in a chatroom frequented by anti-government radicals suggesting a nuclear threat to New York City, specifically the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, he can’t get it out of his mind. Against his boss’s orders he heads off to NYC to investigate on his own time. While there he follows a suspicious character into a secluded recess of the New York Subway system and foils what he believes is the terrorist event. In a shoot-out with his suspect he’s wounded and calls the NYC PD for backup. When he sees NYPD Detective KC Daviau and other uniformed officers slipping into the darkness from the subway platform he’s relieved, but to his surprise he’s met with resistance and disrespect by Detective Daviau. Against his objections, KC takes custody of the evidence and leaves the scene. When Jay asks an officer if she is always that way he’s told that, “Since her parents died, she’s been… let’s say… a little cold.” When they are assigned to work the case together, KC’s icy exterior soon begins to melt away as they begin to fall for each other, but KC has to hold back. She has a dark secret and knows he can’t ever know her truths because if he did he would hate her just as she hates herself for what she’s about to do.

Read an Excerpt

“Because the Waldorf Astoria in New York is their flagship and it’s the symbol of everything that is America. They tried to bring the towers and the World Trade Center down in an unsuccessful attempt in nineteen ninety-three, but managed on September eleventh, two thousand one. What makes you think they won’t try something again? Their hate runs deep.”

“Jay, let it go. Maybe it’s just a disgruntled guest that had a bad experience after spending oodles of money there. Please let it go for your own sanity.” She pleaded and hated herself at the same time. How can I make such beautiful love with this man yet still lie to him? There must be something drastically wrong with me, but it’s too late to turn back now. She knew it wasn’t a terrorist’s threat. It was just her and her merry band of anti-nuclear activists making the world safe. She began to lather up his chest with a loofa body puff and watched as he closed his eyes.

“Just let it go, Jay,” she repeated.

He opened his eyes slowly. “I can’t just let it go. Maybe Gary wasn’t involved with the original chatter I found, but maybe he was. Maybe it’s a whole other source of crazies wanting to take a shot at the Big Apple. Maybe it’s the Russians….” Her heart skipped a beat while she tried to rationalize that Sergei and what Jay was alluding to was just a coincidence. Sergei was fighting the good fight. She was sure of that.

About the Author:
I still live in the community where I met and married my lovely wife, Janice. Actually, she lived around the corner from me and we both ignored each other until our teen years when the hormone thing kicked in and we suddenly realized that the cute little girl skipping rope and that goofy boy riding a bike had both grown up.

We are the proud parents of April and Lindsay; both of whom are now married. April married Darren and they have two beautiful boys, Brian and Owen. Lindsay married Tim and they have two beautiful children: Kailyn and Evan.

I enjoy hiking, kayaking, camping with my family, golfing, making candles, and restoring my antique European sports car, a 1972 MGB.

They say to write from what you know, so I do. I write of love, life and relationships. In addition to the romantic plot we all expect from a Romance novel all of my books deal with a real-world issue as a sub-plot that we all have had to deal in some manner in life, but not in a preachy way. I find that including this sort of theme helps me identify with my characters on a personal level. My hope is that the reader will also feel that connection with my characters.

I have four other published novels. Dead Or A Lie and Saint’s Sword are vampire Romances. Unrequited is a contemporary novel with romantic elements and received 4 stars from Romantic Times Book Review magazine. The Last Prejudice is a family saga that deals with the issues a family must address when a family member comes out.

I have been a member of the RWA and the Central New York Romance Writers since 2004 and have held various posts in my local group. By day I am a construction inspector for an engineering company.
